Last year in New Orleans, five folks from Young, Jewish and Proud interrupted Benjamin Netanyahu's speech at the Jewish Federation conference downtown. New Orleans Palestinian Solidarity had just had just demonstrated outside of the hotel, and I wanted to stick around and talk to people, or see if there was something more productive I could do (besides watch the Westboro Baptist Church people scream about the unbelievers going to hell...)
I ended up just biking home. The next night I saw my friend Emily all over the internet. She'd been the first person taken out by security for interrupting Netanyahu.
And here they've struck again!
